Sufra NW London is a community food bank and kitchen which distributes food to low income families across the London Borough of Brent and surrounding areas, as well as providing a range of programmes that encourage skills development, employability and health and well-being. The Food Bank is open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm, when people who have obtained a voucher are provided with a week’s supply of food for themselves and their family. People should call the number below to find out how to get a voucher, or call Brent Council’s Welfare Assistance Team on 020 8937 5796; options 2 then 3. The Community Kitchen serves a three-course vegetarian meal every Friday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. All are welcome, irrespective of background or circumstances.
