The Community Hub at CMH

The Community Hub at Central Middlesex Hospital is a partnership between Brent Council, Brent CCG, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, CVS Brent and Healthwatch Brent.

Last year we engaged with over 500 people, including hospital users, staff and local people, to understand what they would like to access at the community hub at CMH.  The key themes included children and families, arts and culture, health and wellbeing, employability, befriending and social isolation.

We then worked with local organisations to design the Community Hub by seeing what they could offer in response to what people asked for. The Community Hub schedule has come together with thanks to many local organisations committing their time to attend.

The Community Hub model at CMH will be tested for two weeks. Following this time, we will work with the Community Hub partners and local organisations to review the success and decide next steps.
