Coronavirus resources and information for SEND
|If you need urgent support - call our helpline for support on 020 8937 1234 open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday or email email@example.com|
The current national situation regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19) is changing frequently and this is affecting many local services.
At present, all children are expected to stay at home if possible, with the exception of keyworkers’ children and some vulnerable children (please check with your school if you are not sure).
If you have, or work with, children who have special educational needs and disabilities, view our selection of resources and information that may be useful to you at this time.
We have pulled together a series of frequently asked questions related to school closures and Education, Health and Care plans (EHC).
You can also download a copy of an open letter sent from Vicky Ford, MP for Children and Families to children and young people with SEND, their families and others who support them about the Coronavirus Bill.
We will continue to update this page as things change or more resources become available.
You will find information and updates on keeping safe, changes to council services and Central Government advice and resources on Brent council’s Coronavirus webpages.
