The role

DO YOU WANT TO BE A TEACHER? Barham Primary School is seeking to appoint dynamic and enthusiastic Graduates to support learning in and out of the classroom during Literacy, Numeracy and other lessons. There will also be a requirement for support during break times (including lunchtime duties) and opportunities to offer extra-curricular activities. The successful candidates will join a friendly and supportive team of staff who are committed to achieving high standards for all pupils.

 

The person

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate:

  • An excellent model of spoken English
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • An understanding of how children learn
  • Good ICT skills
  • A keen interest in personal and professional development

Previous experience of working with children and an ability to speak one of the community languages would be an asset but are not essential.
