Description
The Church End development is a significant regeneration project in the London Borough of Brent, aiming to revitalize the local area by providing new housing, commercial spaces, and a redesigned market square. Located on Church Road, development will deliver 99 new council homes by May 2026.
The development is strategically positioned within the Church End Growth Area, as outlined in Brent's Local Plan. This area is earmarked for transformational change, aiming to deliver at least 1,300 new high-quality homes, modern industrial spaces for local businesses, and enhanced community and cultural facilities. The recently adopted Church End Growth Area Masterplan Supplementary Planning Document (CEGASPD) (2024) emphasises sustainability, improved connectivity, and the creation of a vibrant town centre that reflects the rich cultural diversity of the community.
The new market is proposed to operate on the Market Square on Wednesdays, Saturdays and another 2 additional days (subject to consultations and approval) between the hours of 8am to 4pm. The new market which is part of the new Church Road Development will provide 28 new market stalls on the Market Square and Eric Road.
Approximately 50 sq m storage facility will be available in the development.
