My Account is the best way to contact the Brent Customer Services team. You can view and check the status of your enquiries and requests in one place, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Contact customer services online

You can use My Account to contact us about a wide range of services such as:

• Recycling and waste
• Streets and public spaces
• Planning

Your contact details will be pre-filled when completing forms, you can view a history of your requests and enquiries and you can monitor progress.

If your enquiry is about a different service, you don't have a My Account or don't need to monitor progress, you can use our general online form to get in touch.

It is often quicker and easier to report many issues in Brent, online. You can report issues such as missed bins, flytipping, or grafitti 24-hours a day from anywhere, using our website.

Our call centres can get very busy, and we are asking you to help us during this period by only contacting us if you have an urgent query. If you can use our website to contact us or report your issue, this will allow us to help people who can’t use the online channels available to them.

Deaf and hard of hearing customers can call us using SignVideo from their own home, for free.

All calls are recorded for training and quality purposes to have record of the advice and information given to you in relation to your enquiry.

Our Customer Services Centre at the Civic Centre is currently open for general enquiries during the following hours:

• The Welcome Desk (reception): Monday - Friday: 9am to 5pm
• Customer services: Monday - Friday: 9am to 2pm
• Self-service computers are available: Monday - Friday: 9am to 5pm

The Welcome Desk (reception) is on the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance where we will help refer you to the correct service you want to contact. The self-service computers are in use until 5pm and the handing in documents area is open until 2pm.

If you require additional support completing online forms then please let the reception desk know so we can arrange for an officer to help. This service is open until 2pm. We will be able to scan relevant supporting documents to specific services. If you would like to speak to someone in the Hubs area at the Civic centre, please speak to the reception so you can be booked in and directed to the correct area.

Visitors that are deaf or hearing impaired

We provide a text relay service for people who are deaf, hearing impaired or have a speech impediment.

Our offices have audio induction loops, or if you contact us before your visit we can arrange a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome at the Brent Civic Centre and all Brent Council buildings. To help our staff identify a working dog, we ask that it is clearly identifiable by an appropriate jacket and harness.

Getting to the Civic Centre

Public transport or walking are the best way to visit.

The 83, 483, 92, 182 and 206 buses all stop near the building and the nearest station is Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee lines).

Parking

There is Blue Badge parking and cycle spaces at the centre basement car park, but only a limited number of paid-for parking spaces. Blue Badge holder can park for FREE for up to 3 hours. No return with in 1 hour. Whole day rate applies beyond 3 hours. Take tickets to the Security Control Room next to Starbucks to have it validated.

47 Spaces within the car park are equipped with electric vehicle charging points. If visitors require the use of these, a charging card can be purchased from the Facilities Management Team for £10 per card. Otherwise these spaces are available for general visitor parking.

Brent Hubs work with residents who find it difficult to access the support they need through mainstream services. They focus on supporting people to help themselves and each other, working with them to solve their problems and build knowledge, understanding and resilience.
