Brent Wellbeing Team provides early intervention mental health support for children and young people aged 5–18 (and up to 25 with SEND) who are experiencing mild to moderate emotional wellbeing difficulties, such as anxiety, low mood or behavioural challenges. The service offers short-term, evidence-based support, working directly with children, young people and/or their parents or carers to build confidence, resilience and coping skills, and prevent difficulties from escalating.
Support is delivered in community settings such as schools, Best Start Family Hubs and libraries, or online where appropriate. The service can be accessed via LYRA or through direct referrals to the Brent Wellbeing Team.
