BAS4IL is a signposting, information and advice service for disabled and older people in Brent. The service is run by Age UK Brent and Brent Mencap and funded by Brent Council.
BAS4IL aims to promote voice, choice and independent living for disabled and older residents who live in the borough. Information and advice is available on a wide range of issues from benefits, housing, debt and employment to education, health services and community safety.
Drop in sessions for disabled people over the age of 18 are held every week at two locations. These sessions are run on a first come, first served basis. We will always try and encourage clients to resolve issues themselves, although for more complex cases, we may set up an advice session with a BAS4IL adviser. A telephone advice line is also available.
