Harrow College offers specialised and personalised study programmes at its Harrow Weald campus to improve independence and employability skills for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
Students with physical, mental health or sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities should make the college aware of their requirements when they apply so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
The college has a learning support team to assist students and will, wherever possible, make reasonable adjustments to ensure that college facilities are accessible.
Harrow College is also a centre of excellence - the only one in north west London - for the hearing impaired and has a dedicated communication support unit support for students who are profoundly deaf, partially hearing or visually impaired. Support includes sign language, note taking and lip speaking, one-to-one teaching and access to a wide range of facilities.
