The Kiln Theatre offers at least three wheelchair seats for any theatre performance.
The Kiln holds subtitled screenings for deaf and hard of hearing audiences on Thursdays and Sundays when possible. Certain live performances are also audio described, for those who are blind and partially sighted, and captioned for the deaf and hard of hearing. In addition to the audio described performance, Kiln Theatre offers a free Touch Tour of the set before the show.
The Kiln’s ‘relaxed’ performances are specifically designed to welcome people with an autism spectrum condition, sensory and communication disorder or a learning disability.
Extra lighting is used during these performances and any blackouts or strobe lighting omitted. There is a relaxed attitude to any noise from audience members and the freedom for anyone to leave the auditorium if they wish.
There are two wheelchair accessible toilets and space for two wheelchair users in the theatre stalls.
If you have any questions about any of the services or need assistance in arranging your visit, you can contact the Theatre directly.
