The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance to help young people make decisions about learning, training and work opportunities.
The service offers confidential and impartial advice from qualified careers advisers who can:
- Help you with careers decisions and planning
- Support you in reviewing your skills and abilities and develop new goals
- Motivate you to implement a plan of action
- Enable you to make the best use of high quality career-related tools
Specific advice is available for young people aged 13 to 16 and for students with disabilities. Support is available over the phone, via email, forums, web chat and text.
