The Special Yoga Foundation offers a therapeutic yoga programme for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities, through one-to-one sessions and group classes.
The charity believes that its holistic approach to yoga can have a positive and profound effect on the health and wellbeing of children with SEND and the challenges they face in their everyday lives.
Run by experienced therapeutic yoga teachers, the programme includes classes for children and young people with autism and ADHD, parent workshops, family activities and sessions for the wider community, from beginners to those with more experience. In addition, the foundation also offers professional training so that parents, teachers and paediatric professionals have the knowledge and skills to provide yoga as a therapeutic intervention to children and adults.
