The TfL travel mentoring service is a free service that helps people to start using public transport. Travellers can get help planning their journeys as well a mentor who will accompany them on their first few journeys.
If you are a young person with learning difficulties you can print out and work through your own guide. If you carry this with you it can help you when you are around and about.

It can be helpful to carry a Travel Support Card with you too. You can show this to staff when asking for help.
There is also a guide for carers to support young people and their independent travel.
