The Inclusion Project provides community-based day services in Brent for young people with learning disabilities aged 16 to 30.
A timetable of different activities promoting a healthy, active and social lifestyle is run from Monday to Saturday (including evenings) in areas including Wembley, Cricklewood, Queen’s Park and Kensal Green. Activities include:
- Swimming
- Bowling
- Mini golf
- Theatre trips
- Arts and crafts
- Cooking
- Performing arts
- Orienteering and hiking
- Volunteering opportunities
- Work experience in the local community.
Activities can be paid for by Direct Payments or privately funded and are led by experienced group leaders who collect and drop off participants at their home. Depending on individual needs, support can be offered at 1:1, 3:1 and 4:1 ratios.
