A cross-college service is offered at the Hayes and Uxbridge campuses for students with learning difficulties and disabilities including dyslexia, moderate learning difficulties, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and autistic spectrum disorders.
Support may take the form of:
- One-to-one lessons - an extra lesson with a Learning Support Lecturer to help students develop skills in areas such as planning and drafting assignments, proof reading, spelling, reading and numeracy.
- Drop in sessions - Held at various times in the week to give students the opportunity to ask questions or get help if they cannot wait until their next learning support lesson or want to do some self study
- Exam concessions - Special arrangements exams (extra time, reader, scribe etc) can be put in place for eligible students
