Brent Council has consulted on changes to the school admission arrangements for community schools in the borough. The proposed changes would come into effect for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The consultation ran from Friday 17 November 2023 until Thursday 4 January 2024.
Proposed changes
There were two proposed changes to the current admission arrangements:
- the reduction of the published admissions number at Fryent Primary School from 120 to 90
- the reduction of the published admissions number at Mitchell Brook Primary School from 90 to 60.

What happens next
Following the consultation, the Admission Arrangements will be determined by Cabinet in February 2024 and will be available to view online by 28 February 2024.
