Mental health presents one of the greatest challenges that current and future generations will face. Over the last year Hestia provided housing and support to more than 1,800 people who used our mental health services. With an average of 1 in 4 people who experience mental health problems or depression in their lives, we work together with those who use our services to provide person-centred support helping them to live safe, stable and fulfilling lives.

The Hestia Employment Support Service offers support to anyone who is experiencing difficulties with Depression or Anxiety Disorders of any kind.
Specifically, we are here to enable individuals to return to the workforce, whether that be returning to work for a current employer or searching for a new organisation to join.
Our Employment Advisers will support people to understand legal rights, including financial plans and reasonable adjustments to make working feasible.
Whether someone is looking for full time work, volunteering opportunities, access to learning opportunities or information about next steps in another direction, our Employment Advisers will be able to help.

- CV writing and interview preparation
- Finding or undertaking Apprenticeships
- Employment advice and guidance
- Finding job opportunities
- Finding work placement or volunteering opportunities
- In-work support
