As the Spring months approach, it is important to protect yourself and those around you from seasonal illnesses. The COVID-19 vaccines are offered because viruses change and protection fades over time. Free Covid-19 Spring boosters and RSV vaccinations are now available for eligible groups. Covid-19 Spring booster eligibility
You can get a Covid-19 booster if you are:
- Aged 75 or over
- Have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
RSV vaccination eligibility
RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine helps protect against common respiratory infections like pneumonia and bronchitis.
You can get a free RSV jab if you are:
- Available for adults aged 75–79, and those turning 80 after 1 September 2024
- All pregnant women from 28 weeks gestation onwards
Free Health Checks
Free Health Conversations are also available for anyone aged 18 and over. These include checks for blood pressure, blood glucose, and BMI, as well as advice on immunisations, smoking, alcohol, and general health and wellbeing.
