As the colder months approach, it is important to protect yourself and those around you from seasonal illnesses. Free Covid-19 autumn boosters and flu vaccinations are now available for eligible groups. Check below to see if you qualify.
Covid-19 Autumn booster eligibility
You can get a Covid-19 booster if you are:
- aged 75 or over (including those turning 75 on or before 17 June 2026)
- aged 18 or over and have a weakened immune system
- living in a care home for older adults
- flu vaccination eligibility
Flu vaccination eligibility
You can get a free flu jab if you are:
- aged 65 or over
- a frontline NHS or social care worker, including those working in care homes for older people
- the main carer for an elderly or disabled person
- receiving Carer’s Allowance
- a close contact of someone with a weakened immune system
- Free Health Conversations are also available for anyone aged 18 and over. These include checks for blood pressure, blood glucose, and BMI, as well as advice on immunisations, smoking, alcohol, and general health and wellbeing.
