Join Brent Council and Turtle Engineering for a training session on how to respond in an emergency involving serious bleeding.
Following the installation of a public bleed control kit in Neasden (outside Subway), this community session is taking place during Knife Crime Awareness Week 2026.
You will learn what to do if someone is badly injured. The session covers simple steps to help someone who is bleeding heavily, how to find and use a bleed control kit, and how to keep yourself and others safe until help arrives.
This training gives you simple skills that could help save a life and supports community safety, awareness, and preparedness. No medical experience is needed.
What you’ll learn:
- how to spot serious bleeding
- what to do in an emergency
- where local bleed control kits are and how to open them
- how to use the equipment
- how to keep yourself and others safe
This session is open to anyone who wants to help keep their community safe.
