Help set a world record in Brent!
Young people from across Brent are leading an unofficial world record attempt to achieve the highest number of people completing a 400‑metre lap during a continuous 12‑hour relay. This event is open to everyone aged 8 and over. Walkers are very welcome.
How it works
- book a 5‑minute time slot
- run or walk one 400‑metre lap at your own pace
- up to three people can share one slot
- the baton will stay in motion from 8am to 8pm.
The aim is to keep the relay going continuously for the full 12 hours.
What else is happening on the day?
There will also be a free open day at Willesden Sports Centre, including:
- sports taster sessions
- free swimming
- bouncy castle
- music and food.
The event is supported by Queen’s Park Harriers, Willesden Sports Centre, 1Life and London Youth. All adult entry fees will go towards Track Academy’s youth programmes.
