About the school
We are a Montessori nursery open all year around, with good links to public transport. Car park space available.
Job details
We are looking for a key worker to a group of children attending the nursery. You will be expected to support all the developmental needs of the children during free play and focus activities, to support them to follow daily routine, making written observation and assessing children's progress in order to plan learning opportunities based on their needs. You will need to work cooperatively with the manager and other staff, attend the meetings, reflect in your practice, review the environment and discuss the needs of children to plan suitable and stimulating experiences for children in your care, ensuring enabling environment and positive relationship with children and adults at the nursery.
You would be supported to grow in your role and throughout your journey at the nursery by receiving consistent training to keep up to date with all the changes in EYFS.
The person
Looking for someone who is responsible and reliable with a caring and warm disposition who can patiently tune into the needs of young children aged 4months to 4 years old, to support them to meet their learning and developmental needs, you would need to be friendly, approachable and adaptable, with a good work ethic and positive attitude.
