The Learning Nest is a warm, home-from-home childminding setting where children are supported to learn, grow and develop through meaningful experiences, play and strong relationships.
As an Ofsted-registered setting, we focus on providing high-quality early years care in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. We value each child as an individual and create opportunities for children to explore, build confidence, develop independence and enjoy learning.
Our setting is growing, and we are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.

We are looking for a caring, passionate and reliable Early Years Practitioner to join The Learning Nest.
You will play an important part in the children’s daily experiences, helping them feel safe, happy and confident while supporting their learning and development.
Your role will include:
- Supporting children through play, routines and planned activities
- Building warm and positive relationships with children and families
- Supporting children’s individual learning and development
- Observing children and contributing to their learning records and next steps
- Creating engaging activities linked to children’s interests
- Supporting daily routines, mealtimes, outdoor play and personal care
- Working closely with the team to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Following the EYFS and the policies and procedures of the setting
- Communicating professionally with parents and colleagues
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive and respectful environment
We are looking for someone who is:

The position is for 44 weeks of the year, with working hours between 8am and 6pm depending on the needs of the setting.
Salary will depend on your experience and qualifications.
