Brent Archives collections
Brent Archives holds the records of Brent Council and its predecessors, including council minutes and building plans, as well as historical maps and street directories, electoral registers, school records, and an extensive collection of old photographs and postcards.
Our local history collections include a large reference library collection, and local newspapers dating back to 1870. We also collect the records of local groups, organisations and individuals.
Brent Museum collections
Brent Museum's collections reflect working and domestic life in Brent from about 1850 to the present day, broadly comprising of artefacts, video and oral history recordings and extending to some 10,000 items.
The founding collection of Brent Museum was left to the borough in 1937 by the Victorian antiquarian, George Titus Barham.
