X3 October 2019 – 16 February 2020 at the Library at Willesden Green, Exhibition Space on the Second Floor
Discover London's top Victorian Jewish Cemetery. In a little known corner of Willesden Green this burial ground has served London's Jews since 1873.
The House of Life Exhibition invites you to learn about Jewish traditions and explore the rich history of Willesden.
Visitors are introduced to the fascinating lives of some of the people buried in the cemetery and given a glimpse of the buildings that make up the landscape.
The exhibition invites us to reflect on the people we have lost and how we like to remember them.
Presented by the United Synagogue in partnership with Brent Museum and Archives and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
In 2020 the cemetery will be open to the public.
