This multimedia performance brings Chrys Salt’s acclaimed “The Punkawallah’s Rope” to life through poetry, haunting imagery by Ken Smyth, and live Indian instrumentation by composer Richard Ingham. Inspired by Kolkata and North East India, it explores the vibrant textures, voices and contradictions of the subcontinent.
