These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, team managers, volunteers, and spectators attending or taking part in the Brent Community Football Cup (the Events). By submitting a registration form or attending the Event, you agree to the following:
1. Eligibility and Registration
1.1 Participants must register through the official Brent Council registration process.
1.2 Team managers/parents are responsible for ensuring all players registered for their team meet the age, eligibility, and safeguarding requirements.
1.3 All information provided must be accurate and truthful.
2. Behaviour and Conduct
2.1 All participants, coaches, volunteers, and spectators must behave respectfully and responsibly.
2.2 Abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.
2.3 Participants must follow instructions from officials, staff, security, and first aid teams.
3. Health, Safety, and Medical
3.1 Participants take part at their own risk and must assess their own fitness.
3.2 Any medical conditions affecting participation must be disclosed.
3.3 Appropriate sports clothing and footwear must be worn.
3.4 Organisers may stop participation if safety is at risk.
4. Safeguarding
4.1 Brent Council is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
4.2 Parents and legal guardians remain fully responsible for the supervision, behaviour, and safety of their children throughout the Event. Children must not be left unattended at any time.
4.3 Safeguarding concerns must be reported to staff immediately.
5. Photography and Filming
5.1 The Event may be photographed or filmed for promotional or reporting purposes.
5.2 Participation implies consent unless organisers are informed otherwise.
5.3 Those not wishing to be photographed must inform organisers in advance.
6. Property and Personal Belongings
6.1 Brent Council is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
6.2 All belongings are brought at participants’ own risk.
7. Liability
7.1 Brent Council is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where required by law.
7.2 Nothing limits liability for death or injury caused by negligence.
8. Event Changes and Cancellations
8.1 Brent Council may amend or cancel the Event due to weather, safety, or unforeseen issues.
8.2 Participants will be notified of cancellations where possible.
8.3 Brent Council is not responsible for personal costs resulting from changes or cancellation.
9. Data Protection
9.1 Personal data will be processed in line with Brent Council’s Privacy Notice.
9.2 Information may be shared with event partners and public bodies where necessary.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By registering or attending, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
