Two new murals have been installed on Church Path and Princes Avenue in Kingsbury, showcasing the creativity our local young people.
Designed by pupils from schools across Brent, the murals celebrate their visions for a greener, healthier future and highlight themes including nature, biodiversity and active travel.
Church Path Mural
The Church Path mural is made up of 60 artworks designed by local pupils and complements a further 35 pupil-designed panels installed on Longstone Avenue. Each panel showcases an individual pupil's interpretation of nature, biodiversity and active travel.
Working alongside local artists, pupils took part in creative workshops inspired by Brent's Green Corridor theme. Following the workshops, designs were reviewed by a community selection panel, with the final 85 artworks chosen for installation across the two sites.
The mural was funded by Brent Council through the Green Neighbourhoods and Investing in Brent programmes. The engagement, design and delivery process was led by Bud Studios, working in partnership with Brent-based artists.
