Residents looking for new employment opportunities are invited to attend a series of events with industry experts this National Apprenticeship Week.

Brent Works and partners are hosting a range of sessions between 6-12 February 2023.

Kicking off the week, there will be an introduction to apprenticeships webinar with information on how the schemes work, entry criteria, the benefits, salaries and current vacancies in Brent.

This will be followed by events outlining the best routes into the Tech, Transport, Construction, Food Manufacturing and Hair & Beauty industries.

“

National Apprenticeship Week is a great chance to find out what it’s really like to do an apprenticeship – and just how many opportunities are on offer with Brent Works and local partners.

Cllr Eleanor Southwood, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Economy & Citizen Experience at Brent Council said:

“National Apprenticeship Week is a great chance to find out what it’s really like to do an apprenticeship – and just how many opportunities are on offer with Brent Works and local partners.

“There are lots of myths about apprenticeships, but the schemes available across Brent are as diverse as Brent itself. A good quality apprenticeship is a fantastic route into securing a great job and gaining skills for life, for people of all ages.

“From tech to food manufacturing, there are opportunities in a huge variety of industries – come along and find out more about what an apprenticeship could do for you and hear from people who have already benefited from the experience.”
