An Alperton resident has been ordered to pay £8,665 after repeatedly playing loud music during the night, disturbing neighbours and breaching a noise abatement notice.
Ms A of Alperton was taken to court following ongoing complaints, including one incident where loud music was reported as playing continuously for over seven hours throughout the night.
Despite receiving a formal noise abatement notice in September 2024, the disruptive behaviour continued. Complaints submitted via the council’s Noise App provided clear, documented evidence of the ongoing nuisance.
At a hearing on 10 April 2025, the Magistrates’ bench highlighted the extended duration of the noise, supported by multiple recordings and resident reports. Ms A was fined a total of £8,665.
