Charlie Clinton, Liberal Democrats, has been elected to Brent Council after winning a seat in the Alperton by-election held on Tuesday 18 February 2025.

This follows the resignation of former councillor Anton Georgiou earlier this year.

3,623 residents in Alperton ward cast their votes, marking a turnout of 33.7%.

The breakdown of results is as follows:

Name of candidate Party Number of votes
 Charlie Clinton Liberal Democrats 1,743
Harmit Vyas The Conservative Party 740
Prerna Thakker Labour Party 827
Mahendra Negi Reform UK 286

27 ballot papers were rejected because they included votes for more candidates than the voter was entitled to, or they were unmarked or wholly void for uncertainty.
