Renters in Brent are invited to a free fair on Wednesday 8 October to learn about the game-changing new rental laws and receive expert advice on all their renting needs.
With major changes to rental law on the way, a live panel session will explain what the Renters’ Rights Bill means for tenants, including the end of ‘no-fault’ evictions and stronger rights for renters.
A wide range of organisations will be on hand to assist with practical issues, from cutting energy bills and tackling damp and mould, to accessing grants, finding good-quality work and reporting anti-social behaviour.
Tenants can also get advice on how they can build a credible credit history through rent payment, as well as access to free one-to-one advice from legal experts, advocacy groups, debt advisers and the London Fire Brigade.
