Save money on energy bills this winter with Brent Well and Warm

As the cost-of-living crisis continues to impact households, the council is relaunching Brent’s Well & Warm programme to help residents keep their homes warm and save money on energy bills.

Last year, the programme helped the average household save up to £220.

The free service, run with Groundwork’s Green Doctors, offers home visits, advice, and energy-saving measures for people who need extra support.

The programme has already supported 1,000 Brent households, and this winter we want to help 1,000 more.

Cllr Jake Rubin, Cabinet Member for Climate Action and Community Power, said: “We want to make sure no one in Brent has to struggle to keep warm this winter. Brent Well & Warm offers practical help and advice to keep people safe and comfortable at home.”

Who can get help?

The programme is for Brent residents who:

Are over 60 years old
Have children under 12
Have long-term health problems
Are pregnant

How to get help:

You can be referred by Brent Council staff, partner groups, or you can apply yourself online.
