“Our thoughts are with the two victims of today’s appalling attack in Golders Green, and their loved ones.
“We know that this is a worrying time for our Jewish residents, and less than a fortnight on from the attack on Kenton Synagogue, we continue to work with the Metropolitan Police and other partners to make sure they get the support they need.
“In response to these attacks and to protect London’s Jewish communities, the police have stepped up their patrols and intensified their investigations.
“Antisemitism is utterly unacceptable. It has no place in our society, and Brent stands in solidarity with the Jewish community in London and across the UK.
“Brent is proud to be a diverse and united borough, and we will not allow hatred or violence to divide us.”
Kim Wright, Chief Executive of Brent Council
