Digital pianos arrive in Brent libraries

Brent Music Service is bringing free-to-play digital pianos into local libraries, giving residents the chance to sit down, plug in, and play.

In partnership with Brent Libraries and Casio, you can experience the stunning Casio Grand Hybrid all through headphones, so you can lose yourself in the music without disturbing the calm of the library.

From 27 May, the first pianos will land at Wembley Library, followed by Willesden Green Library in early June, with more locations joining over the coming months. Whether you’re a seasoned pianist, a total beginner, or just curious, this is your moment to play.

Thomas Cattermole, Corporate Director for Residents and Housing Services, said:
“Libraries have always been places for creativity and learning, and these pianos add an extra spark. You might come in for a book and leave having enjoyed a lunchtime performance, a quiet practice session, or a moment of musical inspiration.”
