Community groups, charities and voluntary organisations across Brent will soon be able to apply for funding through the third round of the Love Where You Live Community Grant Fund, delivered by Brent Council in partnership with the Wembley Stadium Foundation.

Applications open on Wednesday 4 November 2026, with grants of up to £15,000 available for projects that help residents make a positive difference in their neighbourhoods.

Previous rounds have supported a wide range of grassroots initiatives across the borough, including exercise classes to help older residents stay active and connected, the Healing Choir: Revitalise programme, which supports wellbeing through singing and movement, and Nines Health and Fitness Club's Community Inclusion Project, which helps to tackle isolation for residents living with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

“

The projects we’ve funded so far have shown what’s possible when local people are given the support to turn good ideas into action. If you have an idea that could improve lives in your community, now is the time to get involved

Councillor Gwen Grahl, Deputy Leader of Brent Council and Cabinet Member for Finance & Resources, said:

“Across Brent, community organisations are changing lives every day. Working alongside the Wembley Stadium Foundation, we’re investing in the people and local groups that are bringing people together to make a real difference on the ground.”

"The projects we’ve funded so far have shown what’s possible when local people are given the support to turn good ideas into action. If you have an idea that could improve lives in your community, now is the time to get involved."

Paul Findlay MBE, Chief Executive Officer of Wembley Stadium Foundation, said:

“Some of the most meaningful change in our communities starts with local people who understand the challenges their neighbours face and have the passion and determination to do something about them.

At Wembley Stadium Foundation, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. Love Where You Live brings that belief to life by putting funding directly into the hands of grassroots organisations making a genuine difference across Brent.

We’re incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Brent Council for a third round of funding, building on the fantastic projects already supported. We know there are so many more brilliant ideas out there, and I’d encourage organisations of all sizes to come forward. Sometimes, a relatively small investment can make an extraordinary difference to a community.”

To support organisations interested in applying, Brent Council will host a support workshop on Wednesday 4 November from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The session will offer advice on the application process, funding criteria and how to develop a strong application.

Applications for grant funding open on Wednesday 4 November 2026 and close at 11.59pm on Monday 30 November 2026.

For information about eligibility, funding criteria and how to apply, visit the Love Where You Live Community Grant Fund page on the Brent Council website.

Organisations interested in attending the workshop can register via Eventbrite.
