Brent Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference, is a multi-agency working model, designed to reduce domestic homicide(s). It has recently moved in-house in efforts to provide the borough with greater agency and autonomy in recognising and supporting their highest risk victims of domestic abuse.
The ethos of the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference, is to co-ordinate high quality, person centred care and support, led by risk, and calling upon the expertise of colleagues spanning various professional disciplines.
Before you refer
Professionals should consider a referral into Brent Domestic Abuse Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference, in the event that the case satisfies one of the following:
- Visible High Risk; (a SAFELIVES DASH score of 14 or above.)
- Professional Judgement; (the lead practitioner believes there to be significant risk of harm, and or homicide.)
- Clearly identifiable escalation; (there is clear escalation as to the nature, type and or frequency of abuse.)
