Rental fees
All our charges for an allotment plot are based on a charge per pole, which is a measurement of 25.29m2.
If you are an existing allotment holder you must pay for your plot each April either using our online booking form or telephone. You will be allocated a unique customer ID to make this payment.
If you are a new plot holder, you will be able to pay for your plot, once you have signed and returned the tenancy agreement. Please be advised it is very important that as a plot holder your contact details are up to date and you make us aware of any change in telephone number or address.
The current charge per pole is:
- £22 for Brent residents
- £32 for non-Brent residents.
- Plots are a minimum of 2 poles in size.
- Our shed rental fees are £25 per year.
- 126m2 (5 pole plot) is £110
Our smallest available plot is 2.5 poles in size. Plots are allocated in the order that they become available and we cannot guarantee the size of the plot offered.
Please note that due to the number of people already on our waiting lists, if you do not wish to accept a plot that is offered to you, you will be removed from our waiting list to allow the plot to be offered to the person next on the list.
We currently offer a reduction of 50 per cent of the annual rent of a single plot of up to 5 poles, if you are a Brent Resident and:
- over 60 or
- receive unemployment benefits or
- receive disability benefits.
To claim your discount please e-mail us at Allotments@brent.gov.uk with evidence of proof of age or benefit entitlement.
Once proof has been validated you will be refunded 50% of the cost of a single plot of up to 5 poles.
