Aikido is a modern martial art and is practised for fun, fitness, self development and self-defence.
Through practising aikido you will improve your physical and mental fitness, co-ordination, balance, posture and reflexes. Aikido provides people from all cross sections of society with a common ground on which to learn and interact.
It is easily learned by people of all ages with no previous experience of self-defence.
They run classes in Ki Aikido for women and men of all ages. Ki Aikido teaches self-defence without aggression, while promoting fitness and calmness of mind.
This is for men and woman of all ages.
Class times
Thursday: 19:30 to 21:00
Family sessions run from 7.30 to 8.15 pm and are open to children and adults from beginner to intermediate. These sessions are free for adults with paying children from 12 years old. A free first introductory session is available but must be booked in advance.
Please be aware that the building is not mobility friendly.
