Update your details on the electoral register

If your name or nationality has changed since you registered to vote, you must let us know so we can update your details on the electoral register.

Update your name

You need to tell us your name has changed if you:

• have got married
• have got divorced
• changed it by deed poll.

You should also use this form to tell us if your name has been spelt wrong.

Documents to provide

To fill in this form you will need to provide evidence of the name change. We will accept a scanned email attachment in PDF or JPG format.

Update your nationality

If you have recently changed your nationality and need this amended on the electoral register, send a copy of the photo page of your passport or Certificate of Naturalisation, along with your name and address to:
