Redevelopment of Gloucester House and Durham Court

The redevelopment site comprising of Gloucester House & Durham Court forms part of phase 3a of the South Kilburn regeneration programme. The redevelopment site is often referred to as the ‘Gloucester & Durham’ or ‘G&D’ redevelopment site,

The scheme has been designed by award winning architects Pollard Thomas Edwards and their multi-disciplinary design teams and underwent design consultation with existing residents living within South Kilburn.

As part of the design process, a scheme including 235 new high-quality homes, new enhanced public realm and enhanced landscaping and children’s play provision for residents has also been developed. All 235 units will be Brent Council homes. Basement parking has also been proposed as part of the scheme as well as a location for the proposed District Energy Network.   

Telford Homes Plc started construction on site in September 2017 and works were completed in late 2021.

The development will deliver:

  • 235 new council homes
  • A concierge
  • Basement car parking with 90 car spaces with 24 being disabled parking and 20% having electric car charging points available, with provision for a further 20% in the future
  • An energy centre to provide heating and hot water to the development and future phases of the South Kilburn Regeneration
  • Extensive landscaped areas for public use as well as a secure courtyard and children’s play areas for the exclusive use of residents
