Our volunteer Community Champions and network of community organisations have worked alongside the council and local NHS services to improve how local communities access health and care support.
What we delivered in 2024–25
- 94 health and wellbeing events attended by 4,070 residents
- 3,796 free NHS health checks
- 1,734 emotional wellbeing consultations
- £420,000 in grant funding awarded to 43 community organisations
