Following the launch of our SEND strategy in 2021 there has been lots of work happening to strengthen in Brent who have children with SEND. Below we have listed how we are progressing in each area and what we have achieved so far.
Over the coming academic year, 2023-2024 our priorities are:
- for the Inclusion Service to undertake an evaluation of the impact of the work to date
- strengthen awareness of the offer for young people in Brent through the multiagency Local Offer working group
- deliver on the ICP priorities as described in the individual priority plans, with a focus on therapies and mental health provision
- deliver sufficiency of educational provision
- improve and expand the voice of young people across the area partnership.
