The Afghanistan and Central Asian Association is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation founded in 2001 by Dr. Nooralhaq Nasimi, currently operating 3 centres in Croyden, Lewisham, and Hounslow. We are committed to the social integration of immigrants and refugees in England by providing English language acquisition services, women's empowerment initiatives, and social and legal support in all areas. In addition to charity work here in London, Dr. Nasimi campaigns for human rights, justice, and women's empowerment in Afghanistan. We have been asked to expand our ESOL and integration services to more boroughs in West London and have identified a need in Brent. We would like to build relationships in your borough with service providers that will enhance the program.
Wembley High Road
Major roadworks are currently taking place on all sides of the Wembley Triangle to allow for essential repairs. They started on 13 January and will last for about 18 weeks. During this time, only buses and emergency vehicles can use the running lane between Oakington Manor Drive and St Joseph’s Church. CCTV cameras are in use at all times to enforce this.
