Fly-posting is fixing posters, signs, stickers or bills to property without permission. These often advertise events. Fly-posting is a criminal offence.

We will remove fly-posters from property owned by the council.

Penalties for fly-posting

Advertisers can be given a fixed penalty notice (FPN), or more than one notice if there are multiple offences. We can also seek to recover the cost of removing fly-posting.
