The Brent Family Wellbeing Centres provide a range of community-led services that can support you from the moment you know you’re expecting, through pregnancy and birth, until your child is 18 years old (or up to 25 for children and young people with special educational needs). The Centres, offer a wide range of free health, education and welfare services to families and aim to give everyone in Brent the best possible start in life.
Register to use the Family Wellbeing Centres
The Brent Family Wellbeing Centres are free to use by families that live in Brent. If you wish to use the services provided at any of the Centres, you will need to register your family's details, including all of the children you have. It’s simple and easy to do and once you are registered, you can book and manage your sessions and activities in advance.

Childminder stay and play for childminders and minded children.
Sing a song share a rhyme – story time sessions. Supporting children’s communication.
Dads and Tots group – open to all male carers, play and learn together.
Terrific twos – 4 week group for families eligible for 2 year free entitlement.

Parents and carers
Antenatal and postnatal services - face to face visits during pregnancy, HAPPY sessions focusing on overweight women during and after pregnancy, preparation for parenthood course exploring baby brain development, attachment, looking after yourself, how to support baby’s healthy development. Range of accredited parenting programmes and workshops looking at routines, behaviour and attachment.
Family Support Groups on managing family changes including new baby, being a step parent, moving schools and bereavement.
Family Support – 1:1 confidential support based on needs of the parent / carer.
Workshops on moving into childcare or primary school.
Support for school application – primary and secondary, and free school meals and transport information support.
Help with finding childcare, including free nursery entitlements.
Holistic support offer to women affected by domestic abuse - employability/welfare benefit support.
Brent Police drop-in sessions for people seeking advice, offered DA support if required
