Kilburn Square has been identified as a potential location for the development of new homes. There are two key reasons: the opportunity to redevelop the former Kilburn Clinic and current Brondesbury Road Mental Health Centre and the availability of significant parcels of land that could be suitable for much-needed new homes.
The revised proposals (Option A) will create around 139 new affordable homes. This includes an Extra Care (also known as Assisted Living) facility, which will provide specialist homes for people aged 55 or over.
Listening to you
We have asked for your feedback on the proposed development through Resident Panel meetings, questionnaires, an in-person exhibition, our market stall drop in and monthly newsletters. We held several virtual meetings with local community groups and stakeholders and your Independent Advisors, Source Partnership, knocked on every door on the estate to gather your views.
We have been committed to developing the plans with the full involvement of residents, stakeholders and neighbours. Thank you for all the feedback, your views have helped shape the plans for both the new homes and how we improve the current estate.
It is important that you continue to tell us what you think. Please visit the market stall and speak to the team if you have any questions or you just want to discuss the proposals.
You will find us there on the following dates between 3pm - 6pm:
- 23 June 2022
- 7 July 2022
- 21 July 2022
- 4 August 2022

The market stall is located at: Unit 35 Kilburn Market, Kilburn, NW6 6PP.
