Wembley Library

Wembley Library

Wembley Library is located in Brent Civic Centre in the heart of Wembley Park. The library is a modern, open plan space providing access to books, computers and study space as well as regular children and family events, craft groups, adult learning and creative activities. 

The library is free to use and join allowing library members to borrow books and use computers.  

Visitors can access the internet using wifi, utilise reference material, newspapers, magazines, participate in activities, events and more.  We also have an extensive digital resources available in the library and remotely.

Every library has resources for children, young people and adults.  Material that is not available at a particular library can be requested from a vast network of other London libraries as part of The Library Consortium.

Please note due to our regular events programme, our libraries can be noisier at some times than others. Please contact the library for more information if required.

Facilities at the library

  • loan and reference books for adults and children in many languages including Arabic, Polish, Gujurati and Urdu
  • newspapers, audio books and DVD rentals
  • spacious children’s library for children and parents with books and reading space
  • study spaces in the main library
  • self-service machines for borrowing and returning library items
  • public computers with free wifi
  • photocopier, scanner and printer - black and white and colour available
  • public toilets in Brent Civic Centre

CCTV is installed in the libraries to ensure the security and safety of customers, contractors, employees, and visitors to the Brent libraries.

  • limited pay and display parking within the civic centre
  • 12 disabled parking spaces in Brent Civic Centre
  • pedestrian approach on Engineers Way and Exhibition Way
  • level/ramped access
  • entrance on Engineers Way or via the Brent Civic Centre main reception area

Wembley Central (Bakerloo line and London overground)

The following buses stop outside or near to this library: 92, 206 and 440 on Olympic Way

Parking is available in the Brent Civic Centre car park.

Other parking in close proximity can be found at the Red Car Park, Royal Rte and Pink Parking, South Way
