The Brent Stop Tobacco service is free, confidential and available for all Brent residents, individuals who are registered with a GP in Brent, and those who work or study in the borough. Our service welcomes anyone who uses tobacco (including cigarette smokers and individuals who use chewing tobacco or smoke shisha), with the aim of helping people improve their health and wellbeing by quitting.
Referrals can be made directly by individuals who would like support, or by a health and social care professionals on their behalf.
Smoke Free App for London
The Smoke Free App for London brings an alternative option of support for your quit attempt. Brent residents can download and register free of charge to access premium features on of the Smoke Free App.
The offer includes:
- access to behavioural support 24/7
- weekly check-ins by a stop smoking advisor
- up to 12 weeks supply of your chosen vape and/or nicotine replacement products and arrange delivery to your home within 48 hours
The app also features a comprehensive range of tools as standard, including:
- community chats group to connect with other app users (moderated by stop smoking advisors)
- engaging stop smoking missions
- realtime progress indicators
- craving tips and feedback about triggers
The app is available to download on both the Apple Store and on Google Play. Once downloaded, you will be able to enter your details and start your journey to becoming smokefree.
