We provide support for people with sickle cell disease and their families. We promote awareness of sickle cell in the community; including seminars, hospital visits, and advice on welfare and benefits. The group is run on an informal basis in order to encourage the free exchange of ideas. All meetings are open to all individuals who may wish to share their views and ideas; families and friends are also welcome. Meetings are held on the first Friday of every month 7-9pm at the Brent Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Centre.
The Turning Point is currently closed
Until further notice, Brent's Homelessness service will be operating from The Civic Centre. This is a temporary change due to operational issues at the Turning Point building. If you need housing support, please contact singlehomelessnesstls@brent.gov.uk in the first instance. A member of our team will arrange for an officer to call you to complete an assessment.
If you cannot make your own arrangements, you may attend the Civic Centre directly. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
